STEM NIGHT

 WHAM in conjunction with Discovery Education hosted a Mardi Gras-themed STEM Family Night.  During this event, parents, students, and other community stakeholders engaged in a variety of interactive, hands-on learning experiences led by the school’s expert team of STEM Educators, student presenters, and community partners, including LSU Engineering Club, Baton Rouge Astronomical Society, Department of Environmental Services, Baton Rouge Community College College STEM Outreach, LSU Ag Center, LIGO, and CAM-D. Over 200 students and their families attended the event which showcased how STEM makes learning come alive!
