If your child takes medication at school or if you have questions about their current health plan, please know that Health Centers in Schools’ registered nurses and licensed practical nurses will be at WHAM on August 7th. The nurses will be on campus from 7:30 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. If you have any questions, please call Health Centers in Schools at 225-343-9505.  We are excited to welcome our Pre-K and Kindergarten students to WHAM! Use the documents below to assist you with making arrangements for the first days of school. Please note that both Pre-K and Kindergarten students have a staggered entry schedule to acclimate them to the learning environment. Austin has enjoyed his summer break with both relaxing and traveling. What have you been up to this summer?
 Caroline and Kya recently participated in the Sew Easy, Sew Fun Day Camp presented by Girl Scouts of Louisiana. They learned how to use a sewing machine and made several take-home projects. It's hard to believe that summer is almost over, but we are sure these girls have had sew much fun!
 While on vacation in Chicago, Tyler had an opportunity to attend the Expo during the 2018 International Society of Technology Educators (ISTE) National Conference. He had an opportunity to interact with cutting edge instructional technology. We can't wait to hear the new ideas he has for technology in the classroom at WHAM!
