Mrs. Clare's kindergarten class made applesauce. Instead of throwing away the apple cores and skin, they decided that composting was a better idea. If you have piles of raked leaves in your yard, we are currently collecting bagged leaves to use with our schools composting efforts.

WHAM NEEDS YOU!
Thank you to the WHAM parents and teachers who attended last night’s EBR Schools Community Forum. This dialogue and discussion by community members from across the district provided opportunities for participants to give input on priorities for school building renovations and construction during the 2018 Tax Plan. This plan will be voted on in April of 2018. WHAM families in attendance were able to advocate for improvements to our current facility or possibly a new school. Our school facility was built in 1959, so we are excited about the prospect of what a new or improved facility can add to our phenomenal learning community. We need your voice to be heard on the district level to make this happen for WHAM. We are asking that WHAM families take part in the two remaining opportunities to advocate in Cycle 1 of the Community Forum process. You can do so by: 1. Attending one of the remaining Community Forum * Tuesday, September 26th, Woodlawn Middle School from 6:30PM- 8:00PM *Tuesday, October 3rd, Claiborne Elementary School from 6:30PM- 8:00PM Or 2. Complete the Survey: (Open until October 5, 2017) https://tinyurl.com/2018CF 3. Attend Future Community Forum Meetings (Cycle 2 & Cycle 3) Watch our WHAM students say the pledge of allegiance as they air: http://www.wbrz.com/videos/
